Decent Work and Economic Growth
Brand Mark and Identity Systems
For this project my partner and I were given the opportunity of developing a brand mark and identity system for one United Nations sustainability goal: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
We developed a mark that encompassed the widest and broadest range of labor types while simultaneously demonstrating a upward moving economy.
The Idea
Final Form
Our final solution – fists raised in solidarity while holding tools of their respective trades. The pencil represents the arts, administrative labor, education and the white-collar work force. The wrench represents engineering, trade work, construction and the blue-collar work force. And lastly, the shovel represents agricultural labor. As the fists climb higher the sleeves become indicative of a bar graph to symbolize a thriving economy.
