Sticky Label
Typography
For this project I developed my own original and fully functional typeface from scratch. The goal of Sticky Label was to create something for display purposes that could resonate across a wide spectrum of services and mediums including signs, posters, records, apparel and more.
The Idea
“Sticky Label” is a Bauhaus inspired display slab with a vintage twist. Thick strokes with tight kerning create both a legible and unique form for every sequence of letters. It is meant to evoke excitement, movement, and a sense of urgency.
